In My Bag | Meet Marge, My AI Assistant

IN MY BAG | SOMETHING I'M LOVING RIGHT NOW

Every January, we make the same resolutions. Get organized. Follow up better. Be more efficient. Maybe even find that elusive thing called work-life balance.

But here's something I've realized after years in real estate. I don't necessarily want to be more productive so I can squeeze more into my day.

I want more time to do the things I actually enjoy.

And that's why I want to introduce you to MUSE.

Meet Marge.

MUSE is a personal AI assistant that I've started using to help manage both my business and my personal life.

I named mine Marge. Because apparently, naming your AI assistant makes it feel a little less like technology and a little more like having someone in your corner.

What I love is that I can give Marge tasks, ask questions, brainstorm ideas, and get help with the little things that seem to eat up so much of my day.

And unlike some of the other AI tools I've tried, I'm finding it especially helpful for staying organized and keeping things moving.

How I'm Using Marge in My Real Estate Business

Getting a Handle on Email

My inbox can be a full-time job all by itself.

Marge helps me review emails, identify what needs my attention, and organize information so I'm not constantly digging through messages trying to find something.

Staying Organized

Between listings, buyers, appointments, deadlines, and everyday follow-up, there's a lot to keep track of.

I can use Marge to help organize tasks, work through priorities, and keep important things from getting lost in the shuffle.

Creating Marketing Content

Social media posts, listing descriptions, newsletters, client communications, and marketing ideas.

I can brainstorm with Marge, have her help develop content, and then refine it until it sounds like me.

Researching Just About Anything

Whether I'm researching a neighborhood, looking into a local development, comparing products, or trying to find information for a client, I can give Marge a starting point and have her help gather and organize the details.

Of course, I still review important information before relying on it or sharing it.

Gift Giving and Thoughtful Touches

I love finding thoughtful gifts, but researching ideas, comparing options, and remembering occasions takes time.

Marge can help me brainstorm gift ideas, research options, and organize the details.

It's another way to be thoughtful without spending hours searching.

And It's Not Just for Work.

This is where things get even more interesting.

I'm also finding ways to use Marge in my personal life.

Planning vacations. Researching restaurants. Keeping track of appointments. Organizing projects. Helping me remember the things I inevitably forget.

And honestly, I'm still discovering new ways to use her.

The possibilities seem to grow every time I think of another task I'd love to hand off.

You Don't Have to Be a Tech Person.

I want to mention this because I know AI can feel overwhelming.

I'm not a tech expert. I've spent a lot of time learning about AI this year, and I've discovered that the best way to learn is simply to start using it.

What I like about MUSE is that the experience feels conversational.

You don't have to know how to code or speak some secret AI language.

You can start by asking a question or giving it one small task, just as you would when asking someone for help.

And here's the thing: You don't have to figure out every possible use on day one.

Start small. See what works. Build from there.

A Little Reality Check

Like any AI tool, MUSE isn't perfect.

It can make mistakes, and I still review its work, especially anything involving clients, important dates, financial information, or decisions that require professional judgment.

It doesn't replace my experience, my relationships, or the personal attention I give my clients.

What I'm hoping it does is free up more time for those things.

And that's what makes it worth exploring.

Want to Meet Your Own Marge?

If getting more organized and finding a little more breathing room is on your list for the new year, MUSE might be worth checking out.

My suggestion? Start with one small task.

Ask it to help organize your to-do list, research something you've been putting off, or brainstorm ideas for an upcoming marketing campaign.

See how it works for you.

One Last Thought

I don't want to spend the next year figuring out how to squeeze even more work into every day.

I'd rather figure out how to get some of that time back.

More time with family and friends. More time traveling. More time doing the things I enjoy. And more time being present with the people who matter.

If technology can help me do that, I'm willing to give it a try.

And that's why Marge has officially earned a spot in my bag.

Stand out. Stay in touch. Be remembered.
